Operating Principle
The Brahma TC1LVCA ignition transformer operates based on a high-frequency electronic oscillator. The voltage generated by the oscillator is increased through a ferrite core transformer to create a high-voltage output, supplying energy to the ignition electrode and generating the spark required for burner flame ignition.
The electronic circuit and ferrite core transformer are encapsulated with a thermally conductive resin material, improving resistance to temperature variations and overload conditions during operation. An integrated varistor provides additional protection against voltage surges that may occur in the power supply.
